Psychiatry: MMHC employs psychiatrists who are physicians trained in general or child/adolescent psychiatry and have successfully completed a 4-year general psychiatry residency programs. Applicants must have or obtain an Arizona physician license and be able to obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance. If not a child/adolescent specialist, MD’s must possess minimum training to see children or adolescents.

Additionally, MMHC employs psychiatric nurse practitioners in our robust psychiatric services delivery! These valued practitioners come to us with Master’s degrees in Nursing or Physician Assistant and have experience in various mental health settings. Applicants must be currently or able to become licensed in Arizona, obtain DEA registration for prescribing privileges, and obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance card.

Therapist: We employ therapists who have Master’s degrees in counseling, psychology, social work, or other fields related to behavioral health, and are licensed in the State of Arizona. Candidates for these positions should have experience in providing counseling to a broad range of clients, knowledge of family systems and family dynamics, and good diagnostic and engagement skills. These positions require a valid Arizona driver’s license and Arizona fingerprint clearance.

Behavioral Health Technicians: Behavioral Health Technicians have a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field, OR an Associate’s degree in a behavioral health related field and one year’s full time behavioral health experience, OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 3 years’ full-time behavioral health experience.

Nurses: MMHC hires both LPN’s and RN’s for our outpatient clinic locations, as well as our inpatient facility. Positions may be full-time or through a pool, and require current Arizona licensure, as well as valid Arizona driver’s license and Arizona fingerprint clearance.

Peer Support Specialists: Peer support specialists are persons or family members who are or have been consumers of the behavioral health system, and are providing uniquely supportive recovery-oriented services to our clients. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and successfully completed a Peer Support Training Course (or complete such shortly after selection for the position). Must have valid Arizona driver’s license and obtain Arizona fingerprint clearance.

Clinical Supervisors: Candidates for Clinical Supervisor positions must be licensed in Arizona, have a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field, and have at least two years’ experience in direct clinical work in a behavioral health setting. Supervisory experience is desirable. Must have valid Arizona driver’s license and obtain Arizona fingerprint clearance.

Behavioral Health Paraprofessionals: BHPP’s fill important roles in our clinical teams in the outpatient clinics, as well as in our residential and inpatient programs. Candidates for these positions must be at least 21, have a high school diploma/GED, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and obtain Arizona fingerprint clearance.

Administrative Support Assistants: These clerical/support positions fill important roles in our customer service, client records, and eligibility departments and demonstrate excellent customer service skills with our internal and external customers. Candidates for these positions must be at least 21, have a high school diploma/GED, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and obtain Arizona fingerprint clearance.
